Over 900 Children Served During 3-Day Back-to-School Health & Supply Giveaway by Santé Plus Medical Center and AHVED

Last week, Santé Plus Medical Center partnered with AHVED to host an impactful 3-day back-to-school event across Lee and Collier Counties. From July 25th to July 27th, the two organizations provided essential support to more than 900 children and their families, making sure they were prepared, healthy, and excited to return to school.

Each child received a backpack filled with school supplies, and many benefited from free physical exams offered on-site. Parents also received food kits filled with nutritious items, and women had the opportunity to complete mammogram screenings, ensuring the health of the whole family was prioritized.

July 25 – Fort Myers: The first stop was a high-energy event in Fort Myers, filled with a warm atmosphere, great weather, and a large turnout. Families enjoyed a day of community support and celebration.

July 26 – Lehigh Acres: The second day brought the team to Lehigh, where another beautiful day welcomed families who were eager to participate. The event was well-organized and joyful, with lots of smiles from children and parents alike.

July 27 – Immokalee: On the final day, the team traveled to Immokalee, where families were already lined up early in the morning outside the clinic. The overwhelming response showed just how much these services were needed and appreciated.

This initiative not only helped children prepare for the upcoming school year but also supported the overall well-being of their families. The collaboration between Sante Plus Medical Center and AHVED continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to community health and empowerment.
